Where Livingstone Airport actually is
Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI) sits about 5km from Livingstone town and around 15km from the falls and the Zimbabwe border. If your accommodation is in Livingstone or on the Zambian side, this is a short, straightforward transfer.
What changes if you need to reach the Zimbabwean side
If your hotel, safari camp or onward connection is in Zimbabwe, a pickup from Livingstone Airport means crossing the Victoria Falls border post — immigration and customs on both sides, plus whatever visa applies to your nationality. Many travellers use the KAZA Univisa, which covers both Zimbabwe and Zambia on a single visa and also allows day trips into Botswana's Kazungula/Chobe area, but requirements vary by nationality and do change, so confirm the current rules before you fly.
