Hwange is Zimbabwe's largest national park and one of the best places in Southern Africa to see large elephant herds. It sits roughly 200km south of Victoria Falls, and most visitors either drive down by road or fly in on a light-aircraft charter, depending on which camp they're staying at.

For Hwange Main Camp and lodges close to the main entrance, a private road transfer is usually the more cost-effective option and gives you a chance to see the Zimbabwean countryside en route. For remote private concessions further into the park, a short air charter flight is often faster and more practical — we arrange both, and can advise which suits your specific lodge.
